Candlelighters of Fort Worth has one part-time employee that works directly with the children and the families treated for cancer at Cook Children's Medical Center of Fort Worth. Our Family Care Coordinator works to facilitate the relationships between the children and their families, Cook Children's Medical Center, and Candlelighters of Fort Worth. In addition to holding a part-time position, because of her commitment our Family Care Coordinator also gives countless hours of service voluntarily.

Members of the Board know firsthand the multitude of daily challenges facing children treated with cancer. Our Members have have had a child or grandchild treated for cancer or are employees of Cook Children's Medical Center that work daily with the children and give even more by volunteering with Candlelighters.
